Canyon Country Campus Message

Welcome to the Canyon Country Campus

We are pleased to welcome you to the Canyon Country Campus (CCC), a vital part of how College of the Canyons (COC) serves students and the broader Santa Clarita Valley. Since its opening in August 2007, the Canyon Country Campus has supported the educational goals of nearly 75,000 students. As we celebrate the campus’s 18th year in Fall 2025, we remain proud of the critical role CCC plays in expanding access to high-quality instruction, student support, and community partnerships.

Located on a beautiful 70-acre hillside site approximately 10 miles east of the Valencia campus, CCC is committed to providing a comprehensive range of academic programs and services that are responsive to the needs of students and the community. With over 30 academic pathways available on-site, CCC provides students with the instruction and resources necessary to achieve their educational goals, whether pursuing transfer, career education, or personal enrichment.

Students benefit from a diverse array of learning spaces, including approximately 60 classrooms configured for lecture, science, computer, and hands-on instruction. The Takeda Science Center supports high-demand STEM and transfer programs through modern science labs, study areas, and instructional spaces. The Applied Technology Education Center delivers career education in programs such as Automotive, Construction, and Water Systems Technologies. Additionally, the Student Services & Learning Resources Center houses tutoring, library services, counseling, and more—ensuring wraparound support for students throughout their academic journey.

CCC is a hub of engagement and innovation. We feature landscapes and gardens full of native, pollinator-friendly plants as part of our biodiversity efforts. Our vibrant Science Talks series features biannual Star PartiesGarden Walks, and interactive STEM presentations by faculty and guest speakers and other events are designed to inspire learning, foster community connections, and welcome everyone to campus.

As part of its evolving mission, the Canyon Country Campus is transitioning into the college’s dedicated Health Professions campus, with plans underway to expand and relocate several high-demand allied health programs to the site. This transformation reflects both the local workforce needs and the college’s commitment to preparing students for in-demand careers in healthcare. In the year ahead, CCC will serve as a hub for programs such as Certified Nursing Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician, and other health-related fields—creating new opportunities for students and deepening our impact on the region’s health and human services infrastructure. We will also be debuting a new Health Professions Simulation Lab before the end of the year.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the faculty, staff, and partners who continue to support CCC with passion and commitment. Together, we are building a dynamic learning environment rooted in innovation and student success.
