Dawn Rymond comes to the Early Childhood Education department as an adjunct faculty member with a strong educational background and a variety of positive life experiences working with children and families.
She started h​er ECE career working for Glendale Unified in their Child Development
Program as a Title V lead preschool teacher. Dawn also worked as an elementary school
teacher for Newhall School District.
Dawn earned a Children’s Center Permit from Glendale Community College. At Pacific
Oaks College she earned her BA degree in Human Development, a Multiple Subject Teaching
Credential with Clad emphasis, and her MA in Human Development.
Ms. Rymond is a long time resident of Valencia where she lives with her husband and
two children. Her children, Jake and Jordan, attend Junior High and High School in
the area.
Dawn considers herself a lifelong learner and hopes to promote the motto of her alma
mater, “Value the Child.â€â€‹
